Our Brielle

2010-2016 Brielle Avery Barber, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2016. Do you believe in angels? If you do, then that is all you need to know about the mighty Brielle Barber. With only 6 years on this planet, this young lady touched literally thousands of lives in a manner no one could have ever dared to dream. What made our “Breeski” such a special butterfly was her ability to assist others in attaining new heights. Brielle, no matter what the situation, was always kind, caring and smiling. She loved her school, her friends, McDonald’s, salt (definitely salt), BBQ chips, butterflies, cooking, Brielle’s Buddies, her brothers, sister, mommy, daddy, and her family. Sometimes, Brielle would talk about becoming a mommy, a babysitter, and a farmer. Yes, a farmer! Even in her dreams, she still held to that genuine compassion for providing for others. And what she provided in her short life was an unyielding dignity and a power that only super heroes possess. As the Shakespeare quote best describes her, “She may be little, but she is fierce.” As human beings, we are afforded no promises, only opportunities. It is within those moments that separate those who wish to make this world a better place and those who actually do it. Lucky for all of us, Brielle was, and always will be, such a person. Please join us to celebrate the flight of our angel, Brielle, as she continues to provide for us all in strength, love and hope. Brielle is survived by her parents, Kelly A. (Sweeney) and William A. Barber, her brothers, Caden J. and Jordan A. and sister, Brynlee H. Barber. Grandparents: Cheryl Sweeney Foy and James Foy and Rose and Anthony Barber, Sr. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass Friday, July 15, 2016 10:30am St. Kevin Church, 200 W. Sproul Rd. Springfield, PA 19064 and to her Viewing Thursday 5:00-8:00pm and Friday morning after 9:30am In the Church. Burial private.
